Differentiation from incumbent solutions
Liquid based durable water repellents (DWRs) are only applied to the fabric upper and so although may produce good repellency to the fabric, don’t prevent water ingress or the wearers feet from getting wet.

Splash-proof is applied to the entire footwear product, maximising repellency to all the materials and seems to vastly reduce water weight uptake and reduce drying times.
